2.1.2 Prevalence of moderate or severe food insecurity (both sexes or no breakdown by sex) (all age ranges or no breakdown by age) (no breakdown by urbanisation) — Value is currently reported for 130 countries. The highest value is 88.8 % in South Sudan; the lowest is 1 % in Belarus.
The median across all reporting countries is 21.85 %, and the mean is 29.19 %.
The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 89.
Over the past decade 78 countries rose and 50 fell. The largest increase was in Singapore (up 248.3%), and the largest decrease in Poland (down 69.7%).
